A Collaboration Coming Your Way

Feat. the S.T.A.R Middle School Dance Team and Robeson High Film Students

For the first time at BCCP, we have two sites working on a cross-team collaboration. Led by Teaching artists Jade Sacker (Film T.A at Robeson High School) & Norlette Nichols ( Dance Coach at S.T.A.R Middle School). Students are collaborating to film the dance team in the creation of a music video. In preparation for the photo shoot, we took professional headshots of the S.T.A.R Middle School dance team.

Be sure to stay tuned for the release of the full video.

Building Robots in the Makerspace

Students at the S.T.A.R Middle School Makerspace are working towards completing their first Space Shuttle project. The space shuttles are modeled after a NASA design. They began their designs with Robotic kits and clay models. Students will also Design a Die-Cast NASA Rocket Template. For inspiration for their projects, students visited the NYU Maker space.
