Before you start your summer, dive into this: BCCP just ended the school year with a bang! Each year, we host Artsfest to showcase the incredible artistry and talent of our students. While every year is special, this one was exceptionally so. From jazz performances and student-produced documentaries to fashion exhibits and solo acts, our students truly embodied brilliance. We are so thrilled to recap the magic that was Artsfest!
Throughout the school year, Teaching Artists at each site build upon their individual expertise to create a curriculum that aligns with the values of BCCP. Our after-school program aims to serve our youth by collaborating with them on exploratory activities that spark questions about their futures. Through these programs, students have built incredible fashion pieces, engineered robotics projects, learned instruments for the first time, and created documentaries that drive important conversations around their learning environments.

This year’s Artsfest was deeply meaningful. Through all the pieces on display, we not only got to see the vision of our students come to fruition, but also the immense dedication of the educators who help make it all possible.
