Celebrating "You Alright?" : A film by our students at Robeson High School
Congratulations are in order for students of Robeson High School š š„ . Last school year our students created a mental health documentary titled "You Alright?" This phenomenal documentary was nominated for an award at the 2024 Teen Indie Awards located at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY. During this event, students were recognized for the film they created. Our students were nominated for the Sparks Award. We are so incredibly proud of them. We also want to include a special thank you to the educators who made this possible. Thank you to Ms.Simms, Ms.Jade and Shemar!

After school is in full swing! šš Last month we celebrated the launch of our 21st Century program with our kick-off event. Join us in giving a warm welcome to Antonia, our WATCH program director. Let's also give a friendly hello to our wonderful teaching Artist Gabriela ā we are excited to see what art projects you have in store for us this year.

Words are powerful and knowledge is power. Join us as we incorporate words into our monthly vocabulary. PERSEVERANCE noun

In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.ā We want to share your story! We are excited to announce BCCP afterschool is now at DOCK Street School for STEAM studies. To kick off the school year, students at DOCK are learning about Robotics using the MBot with MakerSpace Education Manager, Erica Robinson. We look forward to what the year has in store for us.
Kicking off at S.T.A.R
BCCP at S.T.A.R has been off to a great start, kicking off the year with high attendance. Our students are finding the areas of after school where they thrive. We have seen a surge in students coming together to enjoy community building. As we continue the year we look forward to continue celebrating student participation, meaningful parent engagement and new activities at our site like music. šµ

Have you ever tried Sudoku? Sudoku is a logic based brain puzzle.
The rules are simple
Fill in the grid: Fill in the 5x5 grid with numbers 1-5.
No repeats: Each row, column, and 3x3 quadrant must contain the numbers 1-9 without repeating any numbers.
